Who is behind this

„We” – this is a motley crew of students and alumnis of various faculties, members of IN-Chemnitz e.V. and the CLUG, employees of the data processing centre and the Faculty for Computer Science of TU Chemnitz as well as enthusiastic Hobby Linux users.

Since 1999 we organise the Chemnitzer Linux-Tage with a constantly increasing success. Naturally, as time goes by some members leave the team and new ones join however some of us are involved right from the start.

We organise the Chemnitzer Linux-Tage because we want to give the people an understanding of Linux and Open Source and it is a lot of fun to organise a meanwhile so complex event. Furthermore we get motivated again and again anew by positive responses of visitors.

As a matter of course, the innumerous amount of volunteers belong to the "we", without whom the realisation of these events would be impossible. At this point a cordial 'Thank you' to all of you! Of course we hope to see you in 2015 again. ;-)!

The team is constantly looking for enthusiastic volunteers. In case you also like to organise huge events, are reliable and interested, please get in touch with us and contribute!
