Chris Schlaeger leads the team that develops the EC2 instance types and Amazon Linux for Amazon Web Services (AWS). He also acts as Managing Director of the Amazon Development Center Germany GmbH. In his presentation, he will give a short overview about the history of AWS and how Amazon Linux is used as the foundation for Amazon cloud services. Participants can look behind the scenes of AWS and learn about the development activities based in Germany.
