LPI Certificate

The Linux Professional Institute (LPI) makes it their business to develop internationally recognized standards in quality for Linux systems and Open Source software. The overall goal is to support and promote professional dealings with said software.

As part of this year's Chemnitzer Linux Tage, the LPI offers certification and univention-examination:

Exam 303 (Security) 90 € English
Exam 304 (Virtualization & High Availability) 90 € English
Univention Professional Certificate (LPI 198) 85 € English

Please choose a language during registration. Prices are in addition to the admission fees.

Schedule

The exams take place on Sunday, 20.03.2016, at 10:30am and at 12:30pm in Room VR. All participants are asked to arrive at least 15 minutes prior

Procedure

The examination will be written on paper. Results will be sent via email approximately four weeks later. In case of achieving a new certification level, you receive the official papers via mail.

Preparation

All participants need a valid LPI-ID and a valid photo-id. If you don't have a valid LPI-ID you can get one at http://lpievent.lpice.eu/

Please revise all relevant content before taking the exam.

Reminder: In order to achieve the LPI Level 1, you need to pass the exams 101 and 102. In order to achieve level 2 you need the exams 201 and 202 additionally. Passing only one of these exams will not grand you a certificate. However, for a level 3 certificate it is sufficient to pass one of the offered level 3 exams.

Due to a limited capacity of the examination room, it is necessary for you to register for the exam.
