coreboot is an extended firmware platform that delivers a lightning fast and secure boot experience on modern computers and embedded systems.
As it’s firmware, and making a mistake could brick your system, and it needs to be recovered externally, a lot of people are scared and stay way. This presentation will show, how everybody can get started using the emulator QEMU.
Further, some tools will be presented, making it easier to make a coreboot port, so that even beginners can started with firmware development.
