Bareos (Backup & Recovery Open Source Software) is a reliable, cross-network open-source backup solution licensed under AGPLv3, supporting platforms like Linux, Windows, macOS, FreeBSD and other operating systems. Bareos follows a modular client-server architecture, including the Bareos Director for managing backup jobs, Storage Daemons for storing data and File Daemons installed on the systems to be backed up.
