The connection to the broadband Internet will be offered with various media as it was the case during the past Chemnitzer Linux-Tage.

WLAN

This year our motto will be again "WLAN to every nook and cranny of the building". The entire conference site will be covered with a wireless IEEE 802.11b-compatible network. Roaming is also possible inside the building. The following clear protocols are blocked on the WLAN router: POP, IMAP, TELNET. We recommend the use of the respective encrypted versions.

• The ESSID is linuxtage.

Ethernet

A private network via Ethernet is available to both presenters and exhibitors. You will receive separate information on this subject. Please send us an email if you have special demands (public IP addresses, (D) S NAT, etc.).
