Abstract and "short paper"

After the form for the Call for Lectures was filled out, speakers will receive a confirmation email. We ask you to also submit a "short paper", a short overview of the content on one page. While the abstract will only contain a small amount of lines (that will be printed in the program), the short paper will be linked online in order to further facilitate the choice of suitable lectures for potential attendees.

The program committee will value the lectures with the help of the texts. Abstracts will be already required during the registration, short paper will be sent by email afterwards (if possible by the CfL deadline). We prefer a simple text, also a PDF-file, but no Office documents or the like.

Conference Proceedings

There will be another conference proceedings booklet in 2012 (see 2011). All Speakers have the opportunity to hand in a paper with a volume of 4-8 pages. We will create and print a booklet out of it. Those who would like to take this option are asked to indicate this in the Call for Lectures form. You can find further information about the design of the paper on the page Tips for conference proceedings. Further details will be sent by email.

Pre-acceptance

In order to give the authors of the papers more time for the conference proceedings booklet, lectures that were registred until 15.12.2011 will be valued in a preselection process. Speakers will receive a short note whether their lecture will be accepted by 22.12.2011. The paper needs to be sent to us by 19. January 2012.

The amount of papers is limited to 50% of lectures.

Speakers who register their paper for the conference proceedings booklet after 15.12.2011 need to take into account that they will not receive an acceptance of their lecture until the deadline for articles for the booklet (19.01.2012).

Rooms

The lecture halls are lecture theatres with a capacity of around 100, 200 or 400 people. Dimming facilities, a projector with a big screen, blackboard and overhead projector are available in each lecture theatre. We ask you to use the installed amplifier since the lectures will be recorded.

The rooms for the workshops are big enough for around 20 attendees and are equipped similarly.

The Backstage-Area can be used for preparations. In case you need an accomodation, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.

The deadline for lecture and workshop registrations expired. Currently, we create the program. Pre-decided late registrations need to use this form: Call for Lectures
