Take part in the CLT 2021

To participate at the Chemnitzer Linux-Tage 2021 you need an Internet connection and a current browser. We have tested with Chrome/Chromium and Firefox.

All digital offers are free of charge and can be used without registration. There is one exception: you have to register for the workshops.

The event will start at 9:30 a.m. with the introductory lecture and the booth program.

Lectures

The lectures will be broadcast as a video stream. At the CLT weekend the link to the respective stream can be found the lecture programme. For questions, each lecture will have its own question document in which questions can be written. The questions will then be read out to the speakers by the moderators.

In the CLT Adventure you can sit on the chairs in the lecture hall and watch the streams.

Workshops

All workshops take place in video conference rooms in the BigBlueButton video conference system. As in presence, the number of participants is limited, so registration is required. Registration takes place via the page of the respective workshop. Registered participants will receive the access link to the video conference by e-mail.

To use BigBlueButton, we recommend a current version of Firefox or Chrome. Other browsers may have functional limitations.

In some workshops it can be helpful if your own screen can be shared. This requires sufficient upload bandwidth on your own internet connection. If less than 2 MBit/s upload speed is available, we recommend splitting a single window and possibly reducing its size.

Linux Live

Our exhibitors have each been given a video conference room in BigBlueButton. These are accessible to all visitors. Access to the video conference room is linked via the respective contribution page. In addition, it is possible to walk to the exhibition stand in the CLT adventure and enter the video conference room from there.

Surgery Dr. Tux

The surgeryhas opened in the form of a BigBlueButton room. More information about the process can be found on the surgery's page.

Only digital: CLT adventure

The CLT Adventure is a browser game in which you can explore a virtual world and meet other CLT participants.
